Standard designs or typical style web development does not inspire me. My passion is creating websites that uniquely capture or portray the companies or people they represent.
For 30-years, I sailed through a banking career with specialities in Mortgages and Consumer Lending before anchoring the last 20-years as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. During my career I never worked in the IT division, but because of my expertise, I mapped system configurations and tested the upgrades for three lending systems. I loved working on projects involving technology and knew my future part-time career needed to be technology related. So, before taking early retirement, I enrolled in college and pointed my compass towards a degree in technology.
It was while exploring various channels of technology, I discovered a passion for web design. When I charted a course toward internet development, I opened up another passage in my life. My business name Ahoy Webby and my sailing ship logo are symbolic of this exciting journey in this next chapter of my life.
